Feeling Good While Looking Good - Getting Into Shape The Fun Way

Oct 1st, 2011 Jack Bulker

Wanting to get in shape can really be a daunting task. Imagine waking up very early in the morning for a jog around the village, and again changing to your jogging clothes after a tiring day at work for another quick round in the park.

How about waking up and having a busy work day ahead but stocking up on bran cereals with non-fat milk and dark coffee with no sugar? Trying to lose weight can be so difficult it should be considered as a vow - since many are called to lose weight, but only a few are chosen to succeed.

If you want to be healthy, you must work on it, but that does not mean you have to project a weary aura every day. You might be losing weight but do not your let your face look miserable and sad. Do not allow yourself to look like walking chaos while you are sweating it out in the gym or when out for a jog.

You might think people are staring at you for your dedication to your cause, but really, they are probably looking at your style or the lack thereof. Do not worry that you might seem unfashionable and serious when working out. Everybody knows that if you are feeling confident then you are bound to achieve way better results.

So how do you make your workout work?

Going for comfort, brings comfort. Wearing comfortable workout clothes will definitely help. Looking good also means feeling good. However, wearing comfortable workout clothes does not mean you have to wear clothes that are overly loose or sloppy. Find the clothes that compliment your shape.

Balance out your body type and workout type before investing on your new workout gear. Remember, there is no use wearing ill-fitting workout clothes that will not only ruin your look and your self esteem, but also destroy your workout enthusiasm. While you may not yet have your perfect physique, remember that you are on your way there, and dress to compliment where you are at present.

Be happy in color! Black, blue, and white are old news! Spice up your outfit with colors you love that will exude your personality and flatter your skin tone. Now you can happily power through your workout with good vibes and confidence that will compliment your workout routine.

Clean up your act. Wearing the right clothes can already be a plus, but amplify your workout style by keeping yourself neat. Start with your hair. Always keep it sleek and tidy. Ponytails, headbands, braids, whatever you need to keep your locks in place will not only make you attractive but better yet, it will help you move around more freely.

Nothing is more annoying than hair all over your face while you are trying to concentrate on your workout. Carry a towel to stay dry, and as a cardinal rule, always shower after a tiring workout to look and feel clean and feel fresh.
